We Buy ABB Equipment
ABB gear shows up everywhere from data centers to substations, and its recent takeover of GE's industrial lines means even more equipment now wears the ABB badge. We buy all of it, current or legacy.
SACE, ADVAC, K-Line or BBC — the label photo to (951) 903-9804 starts the quote.

The ABB range we buy
SACE Tmax and Emax molded case and air breakers are the modern volume — Emax drawouts especially hold value. ADVAC and AMVAC vacuum breakers, ABB safety switches, and ABB dry types and padmounts all sell steadily.
Legacy matters here too: K-Line air breakers (ITE/ABB), BBC-era gear, and the SafeGear MV lineups keep older plants running and keep demand for used units alive.

Data center decommissions
ABB gear is heavily specified in data centers, and data centers refresh electrical infrastructure faster than any other facility type. If you're decommissioning a data hall — PDUs, RPPs, switchgear, breakers — that's a large, time-sensitive lot, and it's exactly the kind of project we staff up for. Early photos get you a locked quote before the racks are even out.
ABB lines and what they trade for
ABB's catalog reaches from molded case breakers up through medium-voltage switchgear and drives, and it inherited lines from earlier acquisitions along the way. For sellers, the practical split is between molded case product that trades in volume and the larger MV and switchgear equipment that gets valued individually.
Tmax and Emax frames are the current generation and move as replacement stock. MV vacuum breakers and switchgear sections carry the highest value and are usually worth a dedicated removal rather than being included in a general cleanout. ABB drives sell when the model and condition support resale.
| Tmax molded case frames | Volume replacement stock |
|---|---|
| Emax air power breakers | High individual value |
| MV vacuum breakers | Heaviest value; removal handled by us |
| MV switchgear sections | Priced as assembly or components |
| ACS drives | Depends on model, hours, documentation |
| Legacy and inherited lines | Always ask before scrapping |
Identifying ABB equipment
Photograph the type designation and rating plate. On MV equipment the nameplate carries voltage class, interrupting rating, and mechanism type, all of which determine both value and how we plan the removal.
For drives, get the model and serial plate and tell us anything you know about run hours and why the unit came out. A drive pulled during a line upgrade is a very different item from one that failed in service.
For switchgear, an asset list beats photographs. If none exists, shoot section nameplates and the lineup end to end, and give us the outage window early.
Common questions
Do you buy new-in-box ABB surplus?
Yes — distributor dead stock and cancelled-project surplus at the top of our price range.
What legacy names fold into ABB?
BBC, ITE-ABB, K-Line, and now GE's industrial lines. If the label carries any of them, send it over.
Complete ABB switchgear lineups?
Yes — LV and MV both, with our crew handling disassembly and rigging as always.
Do you buy ABB medium-voltage switchgear?
Yes, including full lineups. Our crew handles disassembly and rigging, and we schedule around plant outages rather than asking the project to wait on us.
Are ABB drives worth selling?
Working, documented drives in common models have real value. Send the nameplate and whatever history you have; we will be straight about whether a given unit is resale or parts.
