We Buy Siemens & ITE Equipment
Siemens absorbed ITE decades ago, but both names still fill panels across the country — and both are steady sellers for us. Modern Sentron frames or 1960s ITE iron: photograph the labels and let us tell you what they're worth.

From Sentron to vintage ITE
Current-generation Sentron molded cases (ED, FD, JD, LD, MD frames) and the newer WL air breakers hold strong resale. P1 through P5 loaded panelboards, BL/BQD bolt-ons in bulk, and Siemens tiastar MCC buckets round out the modern volume.
The vintage side is where sellers get surprised: ITE XL-U bus plugs, K-frame and J-frame breakers, and old ITE drawouts serve legacy systems that can't buy new parts. Scarcity pricing works in your favor.
- Sentron ED/FD/JD/LD/MD molded case breakers
- WL and RL drawout air breakers
- P-series loaded panelboards, BQD/BL bolt-ons
- ITE XL-U bus plugs and legacy frames
- tiastar MCC buckets, GMI/GMSG vacuum breakers
One label, three possible names
ITE, ITE-Gould, Gould, Siemens-ITE, Siemens — the same product family wore five badges over the years. Don't worry about which era yours is from; the catalog number on the label decodes it for us instantly. That's why we always ask for the photo instead of a description.
Siemens and ITE lines and what they trade for
Siemens absorbed ITE and Gould, which means this brand covers both current-production equipment and a long tail of legacy lines still installed across the country. Both ends of that range sell, for different reasons: current lines as everyday replacement stock, legacy ITE as scarce service parts.
Sentron and the newer VL molded case frames are the volume categories. Speedfax and legacy ITE frames trade thinner but at better individual numbers when they are complete. RL and MV vacuum breakers carry the heaviest value and justify a dedicated removal.
| Sentron and VL molded case | High-volume replacement stock |
|---|---|
| Legacy ITE and Gould frames | Scarce service parts; strong per-unit value |
| RL and low-voltage power breakers | High value, especially complete |
| MV vacuum breakers | Heaviest value; we handle removal |
| S1, S2, S3, S4 panelboards | Sell loaded and intact |
| Tiastar MCC buckets | Demand from standardized plants |
Identifying Siemens and ITE equipment
Note which name is printed on the label — Siemens, ITE, Gould, or a combination — along with the catalog number and amperage. The brand marking helps date the unit, and vintage affects which buildings can use it.
For panelboards, the interior photo with the cover off is the important one, since it shows the bus arrangement and which breakers fit. Include the directory card if present.
For Tiastar and MCC work, capture the lineup nameplate plus the bucket labels, and leave buckets installed in the structure until we look at it.
Common questions
Are old ITE breakers worth anything?
Yes — legacy ITE frames are scarce service parts, and XL-U bus plugs especially so. Photograph before you scrap.
Do you buy Siemens residential (BL/BQD) stock?
In quantity, absolutely — contractor bins and distributor dead stock both.
Siemens medium voltage too?
Yes — GMI and GMSG vacuum breakers and complete MV lineups. Nameplates get you a serious quote.
Do you still buy ITE-labeled breakers?
Yes, and older ITE frames are frequently worth more than current equivalents because they are the only option for buildings running that generation of gear.
What about Siemens residential breakers?
Worth including in volume as contractor stock. Individually they will not justify shipping, so combine them with other equipment.
